  • Ensuring that it employ qualified and motivated staff members, educators and school managers.

Child Academy Programmes is an Independent learning institute situated in the township of Tembisa east of Johannesburg, South Africa. Child Academy began their services in the mid 90’s, offering training to teachers.

On the 15th July 1997, Child Academy officially opened its doors as a community crèche/pre-school and along the years the center has expanded to accommodating not only more toddlers, but Primary school kids and most recently Grades 8 and 9 since being recognized as a combined learning institution.

 

 

THE INSTITUTE SHALL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPALS:

  • Instill Christian values of love, selflessness, giving ad sharing as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Recognize the right of learners and parents who do not subscribe to the Christian faith.
  • Encourage culture of respect, tolerance and sensitivity for diversity with regards to culture, language, gender and family background of our learners and disabilities.
  • Encourage pure, wholesome moral and values.
  • Teach principals and values that are based on human dignity, the achievement of equality and the advancement of human rights, responsibilities and freedoms.

 


 

CHILD ACADEMY PROGRAMMES SHALL AIM TO BECOME THE CENTRE OF LEARNING AND EXCELLENCE FOR ITS LEARNERS AND SHALL ACHIEVE THIS BY THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES:

  • Maintain a high-level of accountability to its learners, its staff, parents, Board, sponsors and community.
  • Adopt an ethically acceptable and meaningful academic standard.
  • Provide an environment in which quality learning and learner development can take place.
  • Instill sociably acceptable standards of discipline and good behaviour for learners.
  • Provide an active sports programme for learners to ensure their physical growth.

  •  Child Academy Programmes is an independent Institute whose values shall be consistent with the Regulations of the Schools Act and Section 21 of the Companies Act.
